The Black British Book Festival (BBBF) is Europe’s largest celebration of Black literature, founded by Selina Brown.
ILP is proud to provide sponsorship funds to support the festival’s authors’ fees, travel expenses, and accommodation costs. These essential components contribute to bringing a diverse and talented group of authors to the event, enriching the overall experience for attendees.
This year’s festival hosted some incredible, thought-provoking and enlightening panels and performances, including:
Unmasking Brilliance: Black British Voices in Media with Clive Myrie, Dawn Butler MP, Gary Younge, and Kehinde Andrews.
What’s Love Got To Do With It? with Chloe Pierre, Jendella Benson, and Chidera Eggerue.
Good Vibes Only with Yomi Sode, Inua Ellams, Jayda David, Binta Yade, Safiya Kamaria Kinshasa and Brokenpen.
